Understanding Full Spectrum Hemp Extract

Full Spectrum Hemp Extract

When the CBD oil gets extracted from hemp plants, some extraction processes cause the oil to lose important phytonutrients, resulting into an isolate of CBD oil extract. CBD isolate isn’t a bad thing, but we want more of the good things, so we have found a process to extract CBD while keeping these important phytonutrients! This is called the full spectrum hemp extract.

What Is In A Full Spectrum Hemp Extract?

The reason why a full hemp extract (or whole plant extract) has been given its name, is because the CBD and all of its phytonutrients are included in the extracted oil, taken from the hemp plant and providing a range of nutrition for the body – a full spectrum of nutritious ingredients!

The hemp plant contains certain types of compounds called Phytocannabinoids, which is the main ingredient (cannabidiol) in the extracted CBD oil. However, other phytonutrients such as fatty acids, chlorophyll, plant sterols, terpenes, fiber and an array of vitamins, protein and minerals come from hemp too, which can provide many health benefits.

What Can These Phytonutrients Do For You?

Some phytonutrients include fatty acids that are needed for cardiovascular health, such as omega 3 and omega 6. These two essential fatty acids would best be consumed at a ratio of around 3:1 (omega 3: omega 6) for optimal health benefits. The Full spectrum hemp extract provides these fatty acids in this ratio.
There is also a variety of vitamins contained in the full spectrum extract, including vitamin A, C, and E, vitamin B complex, riboflavin, niacin and thiamine.

Some minerals have been found in the phytonutrients too, and these are magnesium, iron, potassium zinc, calcium and phosphorous. These minerals and vitamins play an important role in maintaining our bodily health, aiding with nerve function and metabolic processes within the body. They’re also good for our bones, blood, skin, and hair. Essentially, the complex mix of cannabinoids, vitamins and minerals, protein, and healthy fats work together to encourage homeostasis in attempt to balance our bodies – all the good things!

Is Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Safe?

The best part about Hemp CBD full spectrum extract is that it also has a remarkable safety profile, so yes, it is entirely safe! It does not include the effects of THC, a compound that causes the feeling of getting “high”. There is also no ‘correct’ dosage that everyone should have, because everybody is unique. The path to balance and homeostasis is different for everyone.

Our full spectrum hemp oil is good quality, and like other consumable products – the best quality provides the most benefits.

Understanding The Entourage Effect In Full Spectrum Hemp Extract

The entourage effect is a term originally coined by Ben-Shabat and Raphael Mechoulam, where they refer to the notion that the hemp compounds (cannabinoids, terpenoids, and flavonoids) have to exist and work together to provide the clinical benefits of hemp.

Naturally, the health benefits are gleaned from the compounds and nutrients that exist together within the extracted oil, which is why we have full spectrum hemp extract. The entourage effect cannot occur in a CBD isolate extract for example, as the CBD in this oil is isolated from other compounds.

Now that you understand full spectrum hemp extract, you can see why Bad Ass CBD oil provides it! Our mission is to manufacture the most effective and top-quality CBD Oil products available.
